I have Windows XP and was running Active Movie (a very old release) until a recent hardware problems caused it to be deleted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The following post was discovered on this site: Ever wondered what happened to the good old Active Movie from Windows 9x? Well it is still around if you want to use it in Windows XP. Just create a shortcut with all of the following: "%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe amovie.ocx,RunDll" Make sure you omit the quotes and include the space. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ While this may be the answer/solution to getting it resolved, I don't understand what to do with this shortcut. Can someone help this neophyte with some direction or advice what this means and what should I be doing......Thanks.
