I have 2 WINDOWS2003 Servers, with 2 nics each. They are located in two different building. All the 4 interfaces are connected to same switch and on same network segment. I have configured my servers as server1eth0 172.20.20.21, server1eth1 172.20.20.22, server2eth0 172.20.20.23, server2eth1 172.20.20.24. I want to isolate traffic so server1eth1 only communicates to server2eth1 like a crossover cable. I have tried playing with metrics and hostfile in all my cases the traffic always transfers from the primary card. Any suggestion, ideas will be appreciated.
