| Hello! I have on Xp : automatic IP address alternate IP : 192.168.0.1 - Gateway: 192.168.1.1, gateway is Kasda router. Im in a lan with Ubuntu, sharing Xp internet connection with it. Problem is that I cannot access router through 192.168.1.1 from Xp. From Ubuntu I can but only when I change my Ip to 192.168.1.x from 0.x. But then I don't have internet on Ubuntu. So in one way network is working, internet is shared when address on xp is 192.168.0.1 - Ubuntu automatic, anything else NO Internet on Ubuntu. But when I try to ping router from Xp - unreachable. How can network be working, but I cannot access router? ---------------------------------------------- hardin369 |
