I recently did the ol' format C, reinstalled my Windows and upgraded to Vista. I see the network, and the only other computer I see on it is my son't laptop, who also is running Windows Vista. The other computers on the network are XP machines. All the other computers can see me, but I can't see them. I have Norton's internet security 2007, and have windows firewall disabled. It seems like no matter what I do, nothing will fix this! Please help!

Go under Control Panel/Network and Internet/Network and Sharing Center. Next to Network, you'll see a hyperlink titled "Customize". Click it and change your network to Private. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, ATi Radeon 9550; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
