I installed a new router in the office yesterday and 2 out of 10 computers can't access shared resources (files, printers) on the network. Though they can access the internet just fine (through the router, along with everyone else). They were accessing resources just fine yesterday and I can't see any reason why those 2 computers should be different from the others, which are fine. When I go to my network places, all of the network's shared folders are there, but I get a 'network path was not found' error when trying to access them. I'm out of ideas. Anyone?

[/QUOTE] See if they are connected to the correct network, if they are try setting the sharing functions again in Control Panel. You may find that helps because the sharing functions may not be configured correctly on the two computers All the best Josh Chandler http://windowsxphelpfuladvice.blogspot.com/

It turns out that the firewalls on the 2 affected pcs needed to be reconfigured for the new ip of the router
