| I was unable to reply to the no audio thread, as I couldn't get it to come up with the reply option, but thanks for your help and I finally solved the problem as follows: I had the same problem with no audio until I went to control panel, sound and audio devices, audio tab and checked my default device, then clicked hardware tab and clicked on my default device in the list. I then read the location of the device at the bottom as PCI bus 0, device 2, function 7. I restarted the computer, pressed delete several times as it started to enter setup. I then went to integrated peripherals at the bottom of the list and selected it. I then went to the bottom of that list to audio, which had been set to EBD and changed it to PCI. I then hit F10 for save and exit and it worked. |
