Two thoughts: 1. A sector, or several sectors of the HD are damaged and it's getting stuck at this point. 2. The CD itself may be damaged and causing the problem. Depending upon how old the computer is (i.e. if it's out of warrenty), I'd do the following: 1. Copy the install CD and try burning from the copy (I had to do that on one computer) 2.
