What i would do is first disconnect all external hardware. Then i would try lastknowngood and safe mode. If safe mode works i would look at event viewer, and try system restore. Or use msconfig to narrow down the problem if safe mode works.
Another thing u can try is pressing ctrl alt del twice, this will bring up a different login box, try logging on using this. Or do an in place repair - restart w/ xp cd, press any key, enter, f8, r for repair. -gosh |
