Gentlemen, sorry that that I had to bring this question to this forum. The appropriate MS forums "experts" will not even respond to the inquiry and, this being a power toy, there is no support from MS. After anouncement by ActiveWin, I successfully installed the WinColorSetup applet. in two computers, one of them brand new. Yet, when attempted execution, nothing happend in either. Not sure why. I w@ssuggested to look in: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/performance_counter.mspx After reading this info I check in three computers with XP (2 Pro, 1 Home). None of then have the DisablePerformanceCounters item mentioned at the Registry Key location specified by the article: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfProc\Performance. Should it be created? or perhaps something must be activated that will create such key, as well as others relevant ones? Please kindly advice. Cheers

Does the applet appear in the Control Panel? Is that where you're launching it from? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2Hs and D100
