Is Vista any better than XP really, or is it just XP in a fancy dress? And as for the security features, I agree, I think that Microsoft need to be a little more thorough with their firewalls and security loopholes. feeltheheat@hotmail.co.uk [emote|(H)]

Check out Microsoft's site on Vista. As to the firewall, it appears that it will be able to control both incoming and outgoing traffic (i.e. same thing as what Zonealarm does - prevents unwanted programs from accessing the internet). As to security issues, remember that hackers and virus writers target Microsoft. That doesn't make Linux or Apple more secure - it just means they're not as interested in doing damage to Linux or Apple as they are to MS. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100
