What's installed on these computers? i.e. Stuff like antivirus, utilities, CD burning software can be the major cause of something like this. First, try uninstalling these types of programs, then try running the upgrade. If that doesn't work, you may be looking at a clean install for all machines. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2H and D100

Hmmm...doesn't sound good. Sounds like something went array on the install process (i.e. an antivirus, utility, etc program caused a conflict and caused this snafu). Try booting to safe mode. If you can get there, try installing WinXP Pro from there. If that doesn't work, you may be looking at a clean install. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2H and D100
