It might be better to post your questions as a new thread, rather than one long thread, as carharttboy457 started. I don't think it was the intent of the owners/moderators to have one long thread, where questions get lost and go un-answered.

Did you do an internet search or check the knowledgebase at Microsoft? I believe you'll find a quick answer there.

Posting your question to these forums may be a better choice

FWIW, using third party shells can be somewhat hazardous. Primary reason is poor coding.

When you say "factory restore", are you planning on doing a "clean install"...i.e. reformatting your hard drive and reinstalling WinXP and your applications? If so, no.
Related - is the Geforce 4 the same video card that came with your computer when you bought it? Can you provide a description of your computer (i.e. make, model, etc)

Sending is easy to figure out - check your e-mail sent folder. As to uploading files, you can do a custom search by date, type, etc. This is quite effective to do a search for new files, or files that have been altered/changed on/after a certain date.

So...you freely admit you have an illegal copy of WinXP x64? There's a good chance that MS detected your illegal copy and "zapped" your computer. You have several choices:
1. Reformat and install a legal copy of either WinXP x64 or WinxP
2. Send "death threats" to MS and be prepared for a visit from the FBI

In Windows Explorer, go to Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Find the file extension that you need to fix (example MP3). Click on it, and you will see the dialog boxes to use to change the program that the file type opens with.
