I was wondering if anyone else could corroborate what I am experiencing. I was checking out all of the new command line stuff you can do with XP and I found the shutdown command. If you want to see what you can do with it check it out. From the command line run shutdown. That will bring up a listing of the syntax to use with the command. So anyways everytime I use the command it takes me to the "your computer is now ready to shutdown" rather than shutting all the way off. Does this do the same thing for everybody?

Anybody try this out? It takes like 10 seconds to try out. . .

Thanks for checking that out Michael. I haven't gotten an autoupdate test package every three hours. I think I have gotten like 3 so far. That sucks about the shutdown command. I was going to use that like a sleep timer and then just add a scheduled task to shutdown. If anybody is on the beta test can you tell them to make it shut all the way off?
