Everytime I copy a CDeverything 'seems' to go well, until I try to play the newly created CD, it tells me that itn is in a format that Windows does not understand...

I don't see that XP fix from Roxio working for me here!

Anyone has a clue what could be wrong? I changed writing speeds and everything, just in case...

I would say first check windows update. It has a patch that fixes a problem, where you burn a cd in winxp, and its unreabled in other pc's, but you should be able to read it in the winxp pc. Also, there should be a log created by roxio, check it out. Defraag your pc to speed up things. Delete the c:\windows\temp folder, sometimes if this is too big it screwes cd's. If you have the platinum version, make sure you downloaded the update from roxio's website, this is the only update you should have installed. Other than that, im not sure.

Thanks! it worked

Now my problem is that my CD-r wont record on TDK d-view CD-recordables!, it tells me something went wrong with the writing on the cd, if I put a common, bougth in bulk CD, it works like a charm....I wonder why
(it's an hp something driver)
