Has anyone else experienced the fact that within Outlook 2002 when you send an e-mail and it fails to send, (rcp host errors, other mail server errors, etc.) it puts the e-mail "Undeliverable" back in the Inbox? In previous versions of Outlook the e-mails didn't leave the outbox if there was a problem. Therefore if it is sporadic error you can just try resending multiple times until it comes through. So now, you have to open up the undeliverable in the inbox, cut and paste it etc and make another e-mail. For that reason, I use outlook express rather than Outlook 2002. Is there anyway to turn that off?

I've run into a lot of problems with FrontPage 2002, not exactly the same kind that you have been having, but it seems like real obvious stuff that should have required only minor modifications but come off looking pretty bad when not fixed. Its not really the same kind of thing you guys are talking about, the functionality isn't really compromised, just little stupid stuff. Anyway, when I get on the next beta, I'll bug it! :)

That is kinda strange, but that is the only Office XP product I own, so maybe I am just noticing it more (???). Anyway, it has worked great, and the errors I have found are just stupid things, like words getting cut-off (on buttons) and mislabeled things... nothing major. The product its self is very stable, I have had no problems in that regard.

But doesn't it put the original e-mail in a new Undeliverable e-mail in the inbox? I used to just click resend when the messages stayed in the Outbox in Outlook 2000.

Thanks, I'll try that.
