| For some inexplainable reason, XP doesn't offer the option to start a new process for each instance of IE you create. So when something goes wrong(usually with Acrobat) and you kill IE... the entire explorer shuts down. Turns out it's a registry entry... http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/964/ BTW, this WinGuides site is pretty good. Number of very good tips there. |
